She said every year it is harder and harder to get everyone together, but every year, despite the trouble, she looks through them, she feels blessed, and her heart is so full as she looks through the years. As a Photographer, a full time stylist, a Busy Mom, and a gal that is always dieting, (Right Mammas) ~ it is HARD. It is hard to find a day that works, it is hard to find a dress that fits, it is hard to get your husband on board. IT IS HARD.. BUT IT IS WORTH IT.. It brings me back to our family pictures the fall of 2017. At the time my kids where 10 months, 3, 14, 16, 18, and 36. (Yes, those Husbands of ours can kind of be like another kidsometimes!) Our oldest son, Austyn, was leaving for the Army - Active Duty - January 9th. These pictures were important. VERY IMPORTANT to me. SO at 8:00 a.m. (YES 8:00 A.M.) we met a wonderful photographer out in the middle of no where, and with gods help, we actually all looked pretty good. Every moan and groan, every angry feeling, the spilled bottle on Cecil's new Jeans, and all the anxiety mamma was having in hopes for this to all turn out like a magazine cover… It was worth it. Take the time.. Battle through the feelings, the anger, the fight, and capture your story. You never know what tomorrow will bring, and those beautiful images will last a lifetime. AND REMEMBER, your magazine cover is not like everyone else’s.
